Over the last couple of months in quarantine, it came to one of the team members' attention how the world was 'turned upside down'. According to her, it felt like a lot was happening around the world and neither her peers nor herself weren't aware of it. She noticed that currently there is no source available for Newton students to learn about what's happening in our country and the world, in a simple and “understandable” way. Therefore, with the help of Miss.Kitson-Evans she started to pass down the idea through her Form IV peers and other students in upper school. And finally, creating Newston. The Newston team considers it essential for our generation to be aware and informed of the world in order to build a more educated and respectful place and future.
