Wonderful Secrets to Stay Healthy at Home


Did you know many people around the world have been struggling due to the pandemic? right now have been struggling in this pandemic? Especially with mental and physical health, because it's very challenging to adapt in this exhausting situation. You may be asking yourself, why are people struggling? Well, it's stressful to do non-ordinary things in a non - ordinary, like studying online and being quarantined in your house. It is no wonder that in a survey by American parents, 71% responded that their children had struggled from the effects of the pandemic.


We should care about our mental health as much as our physical health. The percentage of young children who struggle with depression has increased from 5.9% to 8% since 2012. Some things we can do to improve our mental state is resting from our computers after classes, to not stress out. In addition, giving ourselves a mental break can help us do things better. Doing things we love can help us. Sometimes when we are very stressed, sleeping, taking a shower, or washing your face may help. Also, just going out of our rooms, and taking slow deep breaths can relax us . Another thing I recommend is hearing music and start releasing all the pressure we have by being silent and listening to our thoughts.


Moreover ,it's also very important to take care of our bodies. We should have a balance. We can exercise in different ways like: dancing, doing sports (basketball, volleyball, football ,etc) and aerobics. More or less, we should do a 30 minute exercise everyday, so that our bodies are healthy. Some easy exercises we can do everyday are squats, jumping jacks, burpees and search for routines on youtube for dance or cardio.


It is very important to balance our eating by not eating a lot of junk food but at the same time not following a strict diet. During 2015-2018 only 36.3 of kids from 2 - 19 years consume daily junk food. That is not a good thing to do everyday because it can affect our health. Here is a quick and very easy healthy salad you can make at home. We would need fruits you like (strawberries, apples, bananas etc) yogurt and if you like some cereal (corn flakes). We could also add cereals. The result is a healthy salad that is going to make our health much better!


I hope these tips can help all the people struggling feel better. You know, we should all stay healthy in our houses and with these tips, you will! It's very important to be in a good mental and physical state. I know it's very hard because of this pandemic, but we can all do it by doing things you like and trying to live a healthy and happy life. Remember:

Never give up, eat healthy, don't stress!
